Dr Markus Weidmann is a lawyer and tax expert who advises entrepreneurs and companies on Swiss and international tax law. He specialises in international tax law, corporate taxation and VAT, and represents private individuals and companies before the authorities and courts.

Dr Weidmann possesses many years of experience in the tax planning of international companies and their structures, in corporate restructuring, acquisitions and financing, including settlements and compliance matters. He also advises private individuals, particularly in income and wealth tax issues, and provides tax advice for real estate transactions.
 

He officiates as part-time judge at the Tax Appeals Court of the Canton of Zurich. Dr Weidmann is co-author of various articles on legal matters, and regularly publishes commentaries in the industry's leading journals.
